1.Ferrari California T
The Ferrari California is a grand touring sports car produced by the Italian manufacturer Ferrari. It is a two-door 2+2 hard top convertible When originally released, the California was powered by a front-mid mounted naturally aspirated 4.3- litre V8 in 2014 Ferrari introduced the second generation of the model, named California T and using a new twin-turbo 3.9-litre V8. The car revives the name used on the late-1950’s Ferrari 250 GT Spider California and the 1960’s 365 California . It is also noted in being the least expensive model in the Ferrari range.
The California represents a number of firsts for Ferrari:
- The first front engined Ferrari with aV8
- The first to feature a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission
- The first with a folding metal roof
- The first with multi-link rear suspension
- The first with direct petrol injection
Bosch produced the direct injection system. The engine displaces 4,297 cubic centimetres (262.2 cubic inches), and used gasoline direct injection. It delivers 338 kW (453 bhp) at 7,750 rpm; its maximum torque produced is 485 N·m (358 lbf·ft) at 5,000 rpm. The resulting 79 kW (106 bhp) per litre of engine displacement is one of the highest for a naturally aspirated engine, as other manufacturers have used supercharging or turbocharging to reach similar power levels. The body computer system was developed by Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting.
The Ferrari California T is an update of the earlier California featuring new sheet metal, new interior, a revised chassis and a new turbocharged power train, debuting in 2014 for the 2015 model year.
First unveiled on the web on February 12, 2014, subsequently the car debuted at the Geneva Motor Show(March 6–16, 2014). The T in the moniker stands for Turbo, a technology Ferrari last used on a roadcar on the F40. The car utilizes a new 3.9 liter bi-turbo V8 that produces 412 kW; 560 PS (552 bhp) at 7,500 rpm and 755 N·m (557 lb·ft) torque at 4,750 rpm as well as a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox with different gear ratios, a revised magnaride’ adaptive suspension, as well as a new F1 Trac system. The car can accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph). The car also features a new front fascia that was influenced by the F12, a revised rear and a revised interior. Another improvement to the car is the reduction of emission pollution by 15% compared to its naturally aspirated predecessor. The car also utilizes small turbos and a variable boost management system to reduce turbo lag.
It is also the first car in which Ferrari has introduced the new Apple CarPlay functionality into its built-in infotainment system – Apple confirmed at the launch of the Geneva Motor Show that Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo would be among the first car manufacturers to bring CarPlay compatible models to market.
2. Audi R8
The Audi R8 (Typ 42) is a mid-engine, 2-seater sports car, which uses Audi’s trademark quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. It was introduced by the German car manufacturer Audi AG in 2006.
The car is exclusively designed, developed, and manufactured by Audi AG’s high performance private subsidiary company, Audi Sport GmbH (formerly quattro GmbH), and is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo platform. The fundamental construction of the R8 is based on the Audi Space Frame, and uses an aluminium monocoque which is built using space frame principles. The car is built by quattro GmbH in a newly renovated factory at Audi’s ‘aluminium site’ at Neckarsulm in Germany.
In 2005, Audi announced that the name of the successful Audi R8 race car would be used for a new road car in 2007, the Audi R8, based on the Audi Le Mans quattro concept car (designed by Frank Lamberty and Julian Hoenig), appearing at the 2003 International Geneva Motor Show, and 2003 Frankfurt International Motor Show. The R8 development program began in 2004, Lamberty’s design being approved and frozen for production. Production body prototypes began field testing in January 2006. The R8 road car was officially launched at the Paris Auto Show on 30 September 2006. There was some confusion with the name, which the car shares with the 24 Hours of Le Mans winning R8 Le Mans Prototype (LMP). 6-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx described the R8 as “the best handling road car today”.
It is also the first production car with full-LED headlamps. It was the major attraction of people .
I loved the color and the design…. along with class interior.. isnt it..?
3. Ford Mustang GT
The sixth generation Ford Mustang is the current iteration of the Mustang pony car manufactured by Ford. The sixth generation was presented at private Ford events on December 5, 2013 and commenced series production at the Ford Flat Rock Assembly Plant on July 14, 2014. In departure from prior Mustang models, the sixth generation Mustang includes fully independent rear suspension on all models, as well as an optional 2.3L EcoBoost turbocharged and direct injected four cylinder engine. The new Mustang was introduced as a 2015 model year vehicle, marking the fiftieth anniversary of the Ford Mustang, which was revealed as a 1965 model year vehicle on April 17, 1964.
The sixth generation is also the first Ford Mustang to be marketed and sold globally, and represented the first time that factory right hand drive. Mustangs were produced in addition to the left hand drive models. This is part of the “One Ford” business plan, which also applies to the Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Escape, Kuga, Edge, Ford Transit Connect, and Ford Transit, as well as other models.
The new Mustang’s interior body style resembles that of an airplane cockpit boasting an increased body width, and a larger cabin similar to the Ford GT. This gives more room in the back of the vehicle for rear passengers. “The changeable ambient lighting continues, but it will spread beyond the dials, cup holders, and speakers to other points within the cabin, something also found in European luxury cars like the new S-class.”
This white colour along with black strips look fabulous in the grand show. The design and functions adds to the beauty of this car.
4. Rolls Royce Ghost
The Rolls-Royce Ghost is a British luxury car manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The “Ghost” nameplate, named in honour of the Silver Ghost, a car first produced in 1906, was announced in April 2009 at the Auto Shanghai show. During development, the Ghost was known as the “RR04”. Designed as a smaller, “more measured, more realistic car” than the Phantom, aiming for a lower price category for Rolls-Royce models, the retail price is around £170,000. The production model was officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Ghost Extended Wheelbase was introduced in 2011.
The two-tone colour scheme bespoke option was first offered for Rolls-Royce Ghost in 2012.
The first bespoke Rolls-Royce Ghost (with Infinity Black and Cassiopeia Silver body colours, seashell headlining, black stained ash veneer with steel pinstripes framed by black leather upholstery, lambswool floor mats) was unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
The second bespoke Rolls-Royce Ghost (with Baynunah Brown body colour, Arizona Sun at bonnet, window surrounds, roof and luggage compartment; gold-plated Spirit of Ecstasy, double coach-line in gold) was commissioned for delivery to a client based in the Middle East.
5. Toyota Supra TRD
The Toyota Supra is a sports car that was produced by Toyota Motor Corporation from 1978 to 2002. The styling of the Toyota Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica, but it was both longer and wider. Starting in mid-1986, the A70 Supra became a separate model from the Celica. In turn, Toyota also stopped using the prefix Celica and began just calling the car Supra. Owing to the similarity and past of the Celica’s name, it is frequently mistaken for the Supra, and vice versa. First, second, and third generation Supras were assembled at Tahara plant in Tahara, Aichi while the fourth generation Supra was assembled at the Motomachi plant in Toyota City.
The Supra also traces much of its roots back to the Toyota 2000GT with the main instance being its engine. The first three generations were offered with a direct descendant to the Toyota Crown’s and 2000GT’s M engine. All four generations of Supra produced have an inline 6-cylinder engine. Interior aspects were also similar, as was the chassis code “A”.
Along with this name and car Toyota also included its own logo for the Supra. It is derived from the original Celica logo, being blue instead of orange. This logo was used until January 1986, when the A70 Supra was introduced. The new logo was similar in size, with orange writing on a red background, but without the dragon design. That logo, in turn, was on Supras until 1991 when Toyota switched to its current oval company logo. (the dragon logo was a Celica logo regardless of what color it was. It appeared on the first two generations of the Supra because they were officially Toyota Celicas. The dragon logo was used for the Celica line until it too was discontinued.)
In 1998, Toyota ceased sales of the Supra in the United States and in 2002 Toyota officially stopped production of the Supra in Japan.
The Supra has appeared in numerous video games, movies, music videos and TV shows. Some of the most notable appearances include the Gran Turismo, Forza Motorsport, Need for Speed, Midnight Club, and Forza Horizon video games and The Fast and the Furious film series.
6. Aston Martin V8 Vantage
The V8 vantage adds a track-focused GT model for the 2015 model year. Otherwise, the aging sports car remains the same old entry-level aston we’ve grown to love. Surprisingly spry; still offers a manual; beautiful styling; excellent driving experience; bargain-priced new GT model which people love
Although its pricing starts at $104,000 with shipping, the 2015 Aston Martin V8 Vantage is the entry-level model in the brand’s lineup. That’s what happens when its big brothers, the DB9, Rapide and Vanquish, start at $190,000 and go up from there.
But while the V8 Vantage may be a bargain-priced Aston, its lower price doesn’t mean that it gives up any of the brand’s world-renowned panache. On the contrary, we think the V8 Vantage is one of the best models in the lineup, thanks to its excellent performance, beautiful styling and finely crafted interior, along with its more affordable pricing.
Rear-wheel drive is the only option, though there are two transmission choices: a 6-speed manual and an optional 7-speed sequential automatic. We prefer the manual, which seems perfect for the Vantage’s size and weight. Other options include a high degree of customization options, including paint colors and interior hues, along with more traditional upgrades such as heated seats and a high-end stereo system.
As for pricing, the 2015 Aston Martin V8 Vantage has quite a range. The base-level V8 Vantage GT starts around $104,000, while an upscale V8 Vantage S Roadster is $151,000 before options. V12 Vantage models can be even more expensive, with pricing well into the $180,000 range.
7. Bentley Continental Flying Spur
The Bentley Continental Flying Spur (2006 – 2013) is the second Bentley manufactured since Volkswagen Group purchased the brand in 1999, after the Continental GT. The Flying Spur is essentially a four-door version of the GT, with a stretched wheelbase and greater length for more spacious rear seating. The two models are similarly priced.
The 2013 Spur weighs 5,580 lbs and carries the same twin-turbo 6.0-litre W12 used in the Continental GT, for an output of 600 horsepower and 533 pound-feet of torque. It has a zero-to-sixty-mph time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph. The steering column-mounted paddle shifters enable direct access to the six-speed gearbox when the ZF transmission is in “S” or sports mode. EPA fuel economy estimates are 11 mpg city/19 mpg highway. A 2013 Continental Flying Spur comes with a 3 year/unlimited mileage warranty. The 2013 Bentley Flying Spur Speed version carries a $209,600 base price. Options include a remote-controlled rear-seat entertainment system embedded in the front row headrests. Lambswool rugs accompany the Premium specification.
The exhibition was successfully held on 6th and 7th May 2017 in Phoenix Marketcity Pune , Maharashtra and this event was covered by Mr Nishant Jain.
