Last Night out of sudden I thought of booking tickets to Bahubali Conclusion. This isn’t the wisest decision when you have your semesters going on. I know I was going to regret this decision in Exam Hall. But as the bros say that “Darte Hai Kya… “. I had a voucher pending in my BookMyShow wallet so quickly booked seats in Ashoka Theatre for the 10:30 PM show and landed there on time with Coke in my hand.

Expectations were high from this movie. It was like that friend of ours who made us wait long while he is getting ready. But when he comes out with his fancy Jodhpuri-Brijesh kind of stuff, that makes worth waiting for that. Everyone in the theater was eager to know the mystery, “Why Did Katappa Killed Bahubali”. The movie started with a brief of the first part in Animations which clearly depicted the level of Cinema that I was about to encounter.

The first half of movie was very beautifully presented. This was actually the Story Telling Part continued from the Prequel of Movie where Katappa tells Mahendra that What made him kill his Father… The First part was full of Humour and Comedy. All credits for this go to Sathyaraj (Katappa). The lead opposite to Prabhas was also introduced and their love started to boom. And Romance is not really SS Rajamouli’s strength. In the first half, you can also experience Feminism in words of Devsena. How she defends herself in front of higher authorities was quite commendable. Whatever be the time or ages no woman likes to be Charno Ki Dasi of any man. So the first half was full of versatility. There was rage from Bhallal, love of Devsena & Bahubali, bonding between Katappa & Bahubali and above all there was Comedy from Katappa. The villain was also not lagging anywhere behind. Rana Daggubatti was full of grace and the character was very beautifully portrayed by the Writer. I especially applaud for Rana. When you see him in the first half where He is a Young Prince fighting his brother and Immediately in the second half when he is a middle-aged man, you can sense the age difference, unlike other Bollywood flicks where the hero looks same as he looked at 20 even at 45.

The clash between warring princes Bahubali (Prabhas) and Bhallaladeva (Rana Dagubatti) is the fulcrum around which the film revolves. The second half lagged behind because of the slow pace. The fights were very well choreographed. Prabhas justified the character very well. His physique, armor, attitude all that made the audience feel that He was really The Bahubali with his dhoti and enormous powers.

The VFX work and Hi-End Animation works make Movie a sort of Desi Tadka in a Hollywood Action flick. The landscapes and Elevations of Mahishmati were plotted very beautifully. I guess there was a team of Architects behind these ancient structures designing. While there were a lot of instances like falling of the bridge, destruction of barrages where I object being a Civil Engineer… (But No Logic Needed to be Applied Here)
The movie justified expectations not a lot but it is worth watching watch. Execution of SS Rajamouli is phenomenal. The whole team worked hard for a long span of time. So everyone deserves a lot of appreciation.

The movie has already done a business of around 100 Crores and It is expected that this will break all the records…
